A little about Us

Learn more driving School is a locally based, locally run Driving School based in Manchester offering high quality Driving instruction throughout Manchester, Sheffield and the Midlands to all types of driver, from nervous learner drivers to people who want an intensive driving course or refresher course, to those who have previously passed a test and never driven since! We are a group of experienced instructors, both male and female, with a professional approach and polite manner. Our instructors have many years of experience between them and keep upto date with the latest training methods via organised training courses with driving instructor trainers and regular 'check testing' by the Driving Standards Agency's senior examiners.  We actively promote a defensive driving style to keep you safe on some of the busiest roads in the UK.
We will monitor your progress together on a lesson to lesson basis, using our detailed progress report sheet. We will work together and the grading system works like this:
  1 - Introduced
  2 - Under Full Instruction
  3 - Prompted Tuition
  4 - Seldom Prompted Tuition
  5 - Independent 'Test' Standard
  We will train you in a logical sytem progressing from the basics to the more complicated topics covered in the DSA syllabus. Driver safety is our priority. We will push your boundries, testing you before your test in small awkward streets and upto speeds of upto 70MPH on dual carridgeways. We will also guide you on how to look after your car, including the "Show me / tell me" Questions the Driving test examiners expect you to know.
  We have a no smoking policy, so the car will not smell of tobacco smoke, We will also strive to keep our cars as clean as possible throughout the day. Our instructors own their own cars so will show pride in it and look after it. Our instructors will not use their mobile phones during your lessons exept in emergency situations, We have an office so our instructors will not be booking in new pupils whilst trying to teach you unlike some independant Driving instructors who may feel they do not have a choice.
Our tuition is one-to-one only, and we will not get you to pick other pupils up before we finish your lesson, unlike some other driving schools .
 There is more to getting your driving licence than just learning a few driving test routes around town. The skills you are taught on your driving lessons will last you a life time and so you don’t want to make up your mind regarding who to go to solely on the basis of price, Beware of extremely cheap driving schools as they generally offer a poorer standard of tuition and it will cost you more in the long run to pass with them. We are sure you will want to be in the best possible hands and we take your training very seriously.
Our prices are excellent in comparison to all national driving school's and we offer the local knowledge thats needed to boost your chances of a first time pass, as your instructor will know your training area extremely well. We will not send our instructors all over the North West like some driving Schools do, "winging it" in areas they don't know.
